Project Mersenne is a community driven project in which they are asking all the PS3 hackers out there to contribute and give them your OLD/USED beta keys so they can "crack the PSN cards".

They have made it clear on their offical release that this project is not being conducted for fraud but for " deeper understanding of PSN" and a for the "intellectual challenge".

ryt lads i have made an account on ps3hax called nextgenupdateteam im collecting used beta codes and thinks to put towards the goal of the hax team finding a pattern. If you would like to help please feel free to post the codes and i will post them very shortly on the ps3hax website

BTW, this is a great idea and with enough used codes, it should be a cake walk to come up with the correct algorithm to crack this baby. All caps on all the letters makes the case sensitive go away as well. Only downside, if I ever get a fresh beta code that won't work, it will be bittersweet. Bad b/c I will not have a beta, Good b/c somebody stuck it to PSN. Good luck and let me know what happens.
