It is a media center, with support for MKV and NTFS. The app is still early in development (approximately 40%) so there is no download available yet.

I just dont know how.

i have a 1TB FAT32 external harddrive. i couldnt format it to FAT32 but i downloaded this thing called FAT32 formatter & it worked perfectly 0.o

Same but 2 TB. So it works.

You can use a larger External, just partition a portion of it into FAT32. Theres a really neat tool somewhere on here that does it in a few seconds. My external is a 500 GB which about half of it is formatted as FAT32 so my Ps3 reads it.

So this is meant to enable MKV format vids for playback on the Ps3?

First u can use a partition manager i Did fat32 500gb then u can use ps media server It plays mkv and all other from ur pc directly to ps3
