Yes... There are methods which can brick your console, don't try anything not confirmed.. So far, the only downgrade is from 3.56 V2 to 3.56 V1.. Which tbh, is no use to you

Would'nt risk it bro, a working PS3 on fw 3.56 is better then a broken one. My advice... hang tight and wait for something to get released.

Many of the new methods require force-bricking and have reports of not being able to update after.
