I only get maybe 2-3 seconds of lag before it says connection unstable. I can box, hit the switch, unbox and move maybe 4 feet before I freeze and it says connection unstable.
I don't have the modem - router - ps3 setup. I have AT&t u-verse which is setup with a 2wire Gateway 3800HGV-B home portal, which is modem and wireless router all in one... I currently have my PS3 network connection settings set at 10Base-T Full after having the same above results with 10Base-T half. I tried both 100Base and both 1000Base and just got immediate disconnection. I have my lag switch going directly from the home portal modem/router to my PS3.
So how can I set things up to get a decent lag time?...
