Sorry if this is the wrong section, but this game & mod are awesome, and people without CFW PS3 can use it too! So I thought I should show yall how to do it!
Got a CFW PS3? Use PTMG v2.1 on your PS3! You must login or register to view this content.
What you need:
PS2 :p
Memory card with FMCB or other MC exploit. You can get FMCB You must login or register to view this content..
Flash drive with at least 5GB free space and FAT32 format.
USB Advance. You can download the ELF You must login or register to view this content..
USBUtil. You must login or register to view this content.
Here is the torrent download: You must login or register to view this content.
After you download everything and have your PS2 ready we can start with you computer.
1.) Open up USButil and run the program.
2.) Go to File>Open ISO to create game(s) and open the San Andreas .ISO
USButil will start loading the .ISO into 5 files, I suggest closing all other programs when doing this part!
The files will be in the USBUtil folder.
3.) Once complete you can copy the 'ul.cfg' and the 5 game files to the root of your USB.
4.) After all files have been copied to your USB remove from pc.
Now these last steps are on your PS2 system.
5.) Start up USB Advance
6.) Plug in USB to PS2 and click on 'NEW GTA San Andreas [Mod PTMG v2.1]'
Loading times are a bit longer but it should work nicely.
**NOTE: This will only work right if your PS2 is connected to an HDTV with HD cords!
(This mod is in PAL over 500p and old tube TVs don't have that resolution so it will NOT work)
After the starts up press and hold UP+R2 and the mod will start. After some more loading screens the game will restart, you can press and hold UP+R2 again and CheatBox will pop up.
After the mod loads up you can recenter the screen to fit your TV in the pause menu.
Some features may not show up but you can still use them so be careful clicking on text you cant see.
