(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i got bored so i thought why not make this tut as lots of people dont know how to fix this...
things you need:
DEX: 3.55 rebug - You must login or register to view this content.
CEX: 3.55 rebug - You must login or register to view this content.
the firmware you want to go to for instance ITA, Rebug, Rogero or Habib

1. download rebug 3.55 for your ps3 type (CEX/DEX)
2. plug an usb in your computer
3. go in to the root of your usb and create a new folder: PS3
4. in the PS3 folder make a new folder again: UPDATE
5. put the downloaded 3.55 rebug in the update folder and rename it to: PS3UPDAT.PUP
6. savely eject your usb out of your computer and put it in the right hand slot of your ps3
(make sure to eject any disk out of your ps3)
7. go into recovery/save mode
(how to acces recovery/save mode:
-Turn off Playstation®3.
-Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.
-Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
-When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
-You will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
-The Recovery menu will pop up.)
8. press system update
9. press select and start button so it will start scanning for the update
10. wait untill the update is finished
(now your obviously on 3.55 rebug)
11. repeat all steps but instead of using the 3.55 rebug file use the firmware you want to go to
