I'm going to make a list including pictures of which models can be jailbroken and which cannot. Remember, no matter what model you have, you need to be on 3.55 OFW or lower. It is necessary to be on 3.55 or lower because if you are on firmware above 3.55, there is no possible way to jailbreak unless you downgrade. If you're not on 3.55 OFW or lower, you must downgrade with special hardware. If you see the # symbol, that means I'm covering for a number. If you see the * symbol, then it means I'm covering for a letter.

If you have no idea of what your PS3 model is, check of the back of your PS3 and it should be beside the serial number starting with "CECH"

Ok so this post Is old. I've seen a few forsale post of jailbroken ps3 super slim 500gb for sale. Even went to the one guys house to see it in action. So has something changed from then (when this post was made) to now? Idk how he did it and he wouldn't tell me but it worked and had all the same utilities as my rebug cex slim ps3

So a ps3 that is for example CECH-30##* cant be jailbroken???

and a CECH-25##* can be jailbroken??
