I will first start off by saying that I am aware that there are many posts elsewhere about this exact topic. Sadly, from my research, most links are outdated versions, broken links, and are not as thorough as this compilation.
This is the main reason for this updated, and larger collection of Streaming and Multimedia apps that have been patched to bypass PSN Login. I have spent the past few months manually collecting PKG links, disassembling in IDA, decrypting SDAT files, patching ELF files, over-using the hex editor, creating packages, patches, and just overall general mayhem

I cant give you my consoles serial number right now but I can tell you that its the original 80GB i.e. 'fat' model with 2 USB ports at the front. While Im at it I can confirm that foxtel play and ABC iView don't get past the load screen either. And popcornflix loads but throws up error messages left right and centre, slow and buggy as hell. Does anyone actually test any of these apps before they are released? Lol. This is a great forum but it would be handy if the apps actually worked. Thank you.
I can confirm, without a doubt, that the Youtube 3.01 apps all work without issue. I have used them to make several tutorials and there is only one address to patch for NoPSN. It must be a setting or something with your firmware. I have personally tested on a 2501 Slim running Rebug 4.81.2 DEX.
To answer your question about the Foxtel and ABC iView app, I can confirm that these apps load normally. The ABC iView showed thumbnails but didnt load videos, and the Foxtel app is Region-Locked to Australia, so I couldnt test video loading.
Popcornflix works without issue as well, I have personally verified this, as I use it all the time.
Finally, to answer your last question...YES, yes I do indeed test these apps before releasing. I list any problems that I have generally, and if I forget to list one, then someone can point it out to me. I honestly do not use 80% of these apps and I patch them for FUN! I have poured hundreds of hours into testing these apps over and over and over and over again! So yeah, no disrespect, but if you want better results....PLEASE make your own patches and sit up for days on end disassembling, transferring, testing, packaging, etc.......you're welcome
EDIT: You do realize that I do not make the apps, I simply patch a few bytes here and there to get whatever result I am after, PSN bypass, Ad removal, etc. You wanna blame slow and buggy on someone....blame the app developer!!!
EDIT 2: Lastly, I do not get PAID to do any of this, as most of my fellow developers, we do it for fun, learning, and to show off a little bit sometimes. You wanna cut me a check, I will be more than happy to make an extra effort to fix any of these problems more swiftly for you!!!

well I took into account what you said, looked into all the settings in rebug toolbox, but if im being completely honest most of those settings to me are complete gobbledygook.
So what I did from there was I reformatted the hard drive, no luck. Restored settings no luck. Then I 'restored system' and finally my results started to improve. I installed youtube 3.01, and after a reboot it appeared in my menu and was finally working as it was previously. And Ive tested it a number of times over the course of a few days, and still working perfectly fine. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the other apps I was having problems with. Matter of fact so far apart from youtube the only app that seems to be working flawlessly for me is tunein radio (and funly enough its the only one I dont really need).
There are a few nit picky things here and there as well. Such as, when I disable autoplay in youtube, the videos continue to autoplay, (altho it should be noted that this has always been happening, including when I was on the older versions before I had any of my current issues).
The channel 7 app will actually log in now, and I will be in the main system where I can pick which tv show and or episode Id like to watch, and everything is concurrent and up to date, however - while the ad before a video will play, it will throw up some error message "video is not available" afterwards (tried it on about 10 clips same result).
Popcorn time is still epic fail. I can get inside the app, unfortunately no movie or tv show is showing in any menu, and the search throws up nothing.
Another odd thing, unrelated but could be related for all I know, for some reason my blu-ray movie backups seemed to have stopped working. Ill copy to the hard disk and do everything correctly and when I go to play it will simply say: "Video cannot be played (80029945)". As you can imagine its really frustrating. Movian isn't that good at playing any video file >12 GB's, because it becomes choppy and laggy. It seems better in many ways to play a movie file by 'fooling' the ps3 into believing its a real blu-ray video disc (rather than playing an mkv file in movian, often even large .m2ts files dont work properly).
Keep in mind I am on (including my last post) on official rebug 4.81.2
Are you or any of your colleagues available to talk with in real time about any of this on an irc network. Theres a good chance this issue may not be affecting only me. Also maybe theres a way I can log it somehow so someone can interpret what could be going on and it could very well just be 1 small setting or something that may fix everything for me.
And while Im thinking about it, for what its worth, are you able to take the ads out of youtube, and can you somehow make it so that aussie netflix app users can see the US catalogue. Thanks in advance.
