Alexander has updated his FERROX CFW to include the new 7.55 COBRA. This updated version of COBRA includes a bug fix for deleting PKGs and Game Updates that was present in v7.54. You'll find all the details of this CFW release below as well as a download link & MD5 hash. Now its not advised to jump on these 4.82 CFW's until various apps like manager's and other utilities are updated as well so install at your own discretion.

Details:

- Built from 4.82 OFW base
- Can be installed from every CEX CFW and 3.55 OFW
- QA Flags enabled if already enabled, so there is the possibility to Downgrade to every FW version
- COBRA 7.55
- Optional Graphic mods can be installed, along with HB Store. Read under the features.
- PS2, PSX, PSP ISO / Minis / Remasterred Compatibility
- ReactPSN Compatibility
- RSOD Bypass
- App_home/PS3_GAME
- XMB In-Game Screenshot
- Remote Play Compatibility

The biggest differences to me that always make CORBA CFW's better than standard CFW's is with COBRA you can FTP files to your PS3 even if you're in-game.

Oh, ok. I was just checking because I’m about to update to 4.82 and wasn’t sure which one to get. Thanks.

Hey Folks!
I'm currently running Rebug 4.81 D-Rex with Cobra 7.55. I would like to give Ferrox a go but I'm a little nervous about the transition process...
When swapping from one CFW to another, do all my apps and installed pkgs stay? or do they all need to be reinstalled? will they even be compatible with Ferrox?
Once I'm running Ferrox, will I still need PSninja or PSNpatch to stay safe online? (i have questions but don't want to flood the thread)
Maybe someone could guide me along the way?
