He gave it back to me with an even worse problem, the Red Screen of Death. Now, i just have a question. If i bought an e3 nor flasher, could i get my ps3 out of RSoD and/or Factory/Service Mode? It definitely wouldn't hurt to get the flasher. You can make bios dumps and flash it to a good one. I rsod'd mine and successfully restored it. What model PS do you have? Model number?

I have a cech-2001a 120gb 3.56

That version is able to be downgraded with an E3 Flasher :y:

If you were on 3.55 I could give you a tutorial but since your on 3.56 I have no idea :\

so what do u think i should do? buy a new motherboard? Buy a broken ps3 & put my parts in it? or sell my ps3 for parts?

You'd probably be better off selling the PS3 as whole or parting it out. Go look on eBay/craigslist and see how much RSOD PS3's sell for or how much you can get for parts.
