I am looking to buy a 3.55 ps3, and the only one I can find at the moment that looks trustworthy is one which has a broken blu-ray drive. I was just wondering if this would make any difference to the normal function of the CFW?

if your using the 3.55 just for modding games like COD etc then it wouldnt matter if blu ray is broken just means you cant play any discs, you dont need discs to use the likes of an ftp server or a file manager :y:
