It is very easy to use, from their site i think it is $20, that is the real website, Sony may be able to release a patch who knows, If you don't want to pay the $20 there are cheaper ways to get it (ebay)

probably worth getting elite to get a code for the xploder.

there are tutorials on the site and it doesn't take long to learn how it works
