I hear there is so much to do with it when its on 3.41... but then hosting and everything when its on 3.55. Only problem is the blueray doesn't read games but ps3 has never been opened. So what should i upgrade to for wanting to run back up games and host lobbies and is there something to fix the blueray is blowing it out with some air doesn't help? Also would you mind with links to what i should jailbreak it with...(best one for what i want to do, was thinking kmeaw but idk)

3.55 kmeaw loads discless fine from app_home, "BUT" not many games are compatible this way.

best option would be to go to 4.21 DEX mode, where you can run any game discless. But its a little complicated for the average user.

I think Rebug with the latest multiman will emulate the BR Drive on a usb jumpdrive and trick the PS3 in thinking there is always a disc in. IDK, never had to use it as mine is fully functional.

that bd emu stuff on multiman 4.10 works flawlessly without any game disc btw it comes at a cost of always plugging in a usb drive,not really a issue for fat models but for slim well its a issue if you need urgent charging of a controller as both the ports are used up one for bd emu and other for game backups

you may be able to use the re marry blue ray thing its to fix broken blue ray drives if they stop working or something also you could still hack on your 4.30ps3
