If you are caught with a jailbroken PS3 Playing online then there's a chance you will get ether console banned or account banned. An E3 flasher is hard to install but if you want to downgrade then it's your best option. The only PS3s that can be downgraded and run CFW or jailbreak are the ones that came with 3.55 and below and they are very rare to find in the stores. That's what I know

Yes you can get online with a jail broken ps3 but it has to be spoofed to 4.31 or higher.

Games can be played online but as I said above it has to be spoofed.

You can get a console ban or an account ban that's about it.

I have just recently installed an e3 flasher I found you have to be very patient and follow a good tutorial closely and things will need to be adjusted but don't get impatient and try and force things with it, but I'm not technical wizard and I managed to install it so no reason you shouldn't be able to.....

If you buy a brand new PS3 the chances are its minimum software will be above 3.55 which is the highest level of software that can be jail broken so above that is pointless.

Doesn't cost anything apart from the bare essentials e.g USB and Ethernet cable and such like
