(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I had a 3.55 ps3. I installed 4.30 rogero cfw and after a few days of playing normally I get the ylod. Now keep in mind I had just recently replaced thermal paste and cleaned ps3 for dust as I regularly did to maintain the system. My ps3 started by shutting off with a blinking red light. So I let it sit for two days and put a fan on it. After a couple of days I booted up only to find the ylod.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

has this happened to anyone else?

I agree with this post. I installed 4.30 v2.03 and Rebug's toolbox reported it running at 75C. When I use Rebug's 4.21.1 REX it runs at 60C. I thought maybe my system was just running hot at the moment, but that was not the case. I went back and forth a couple times just to see. It seems different firmwares do affect operating temperatures.

It matters with what model your PS3 is. If you read the installation instuctions it says what models this could do it to.

did you let the ps3 just sit at the xmb with the paste?? for about 6 hours or so maybe abit less? then turn off then turn back on u have to let it run at the xmb for about 24 hours not running any games! so that the paste can cure and work right for the ps3 if you didnt and ran games flat out for a few days then you did this yourself gave it ylod possibly

have you even tried to temp fix it yet? there are other ways of getting ylod other than your cpu failing.
exmple: ps3 slim cech 2001a sitting on a desk gaming and a kid runs and trips on controller cords. ps3 slim falls to its death D,:. did test it shows ylod only when im not leaning on the gpu for more pressure. seems the motherboard warped internally or something.
