You are right jnieves0014. If he flashed a bad dump by following that dumb khalkedon video and not verifying it then he is SOL.

There is only certain parts of other PS3 dumps that can be used as "donors" to repair your console but you cannot flash another PS3s entire flash as the per-console data will not match.

If the corrupted dump has a valid per-console data then it can be repaired but it is a slim chance. I can take a look at it if you like and tell you if it is salvageable or not.
