I want to know if you need to spoof your cfw PS3 in order to do RTM?

As far as I know, the only reason you'd need to spoof is if you wanted to play online. You can still RTM Offline, but if you want to go online and play with others then you're going to need to spoof to the latest update.

Ah ok thanks .....but in order to mod my stats online wouldn't I need to spoof it anyway? :/

Yes, because that requires you to be online of course :p

It's all around better to simply spoof.
