just recently flashed my ps3 with e3 flasher and downgraded to 3.55 rogero and installed toggle qa however when i try to update to 4.81 cfw from usb it shows an error 8002f157. shows the error on the second part of the update. if anyone could help me with this would be much appreciated.

try installig 3.55 ofw in recovery mode then update to whatever fw you want after that

recovery mode from the rebug toolbox? sorry im new at ps3 modding.

im in recovery mode, im already on rogero 3.55 downgrader. could you please send me the 3.55 ofw file as there isnt legit ones on google

From the Rogero 3.55 Downgrader, go to 3.55 Kmeaw. It should be very easy to find a link. After that, you should be able to go to the CFW you want, 4.80 CFW. Make sure it is CEX/REX otherwise you will have to convert to DEX/D-REX.

great, understood. im currently updating to 3.55 kmeaw from recovery mode... i currently have 4.81 DARKNET CEX V1.00 in my USB, will this allow me to play online and stuff?

I'd go with a more common firmware like 4.81 Rebug REX to be honest, and then you could convert to D-REX once you get a little more experience with modding.
