So i am currently running Rebug Dex on my PHAT PS3 and i purchased this console about 1 month ago via a company who specialises in downgrading consoles and putting the Cfw on the console.
The first console i had of this company was working okay until it started to freeze which only aloud me to hard reset my ps3 via the switch at the back .. doing this gave me the message of corrupt data and made me restore and this then led to the ps3 freezing more until eventually the system just came up with coding every time i used it.
i sent it back and the sent me a new one and this has now started to freeze i have had to hard reset this one which again gave me the courrupt data message and made me restore and it has started freezing when playing games which leads me to having to hard reset it even more. the question i have is "with any modded console when hard resetting can this damage and cause problems for the jailbreak i.e (FREEZE) or is it a software problem the company has missed when jail breaking"

is there any way i can get around the freezing i have tried control fan utility and other apps but they dont work ..

Reinstall your cfw but keep in mind running mods can cause the ps3 to freeze depending on the game. Some games are more stable than others when running mods. Just keep at it and learn the do's & don't when running mods.

Some games can cause stress on your ps3 more then others, Graphically intense games such as GTA5 could be quite stressful on your ps3 because the game has a LOT to render in which could cause you to freeze if your're using to many mods. If you're freezing off of COD games it might jyst be the fat (thicc) consoles HardDrive. You could Buy a SSD which may improve render speeds but im not sure how much it would help.
