what fw were you installing? maybe the one you downloaded was a cex one insted of dex, etc can cause brick you need to reflash the console hope for the best.

Then yea, it's busted. Probably overheated..

Thermal paste will do or Ylod? 100% Can't be fixed?

I don't think a bad hdd will throw ylod, but you can try another known working hdd if you want to rule that out..

Otherwise, it sounds like typical ylod..
You can try to change the thermal paste.. If that doesn't help, the console will need a reflow, or a reball, or to be replaced..
