No it's not I don't about anyone else but if your PS3 is already running wired connection all you need to do is setup your ip in targetmanager and have a dex eboot installed on your hdd for whatever game your running. That's how mines been for the longest and have no issues

No you know, I use ccapi only on certain tools but overall its slow and lags a lot. Look into getting tmapi
