Yeah, it's possible. I just did it last night. And before anyone gets mad, I already have a jailbroken ps3 that i did the oldschool way. I don't have the necessary stuff to jailbreak another ps3 and im not paying to do it either. I just need a backup incase i ever brick my original cfw
