I found this information coming from the official PlayStation website forums, but I won't link it because I'm not sure if it is breaking Rule #2.4.

Each trophy has a set amount of points.

  • Bronze: 15 Points
  • Silver: 30 Points
  • Gold: 90 Points
  • Platinum: 180 Points

Each level requires a certain amount of points as well.

  • Level 1: 0 Points
  • Level 2: 200 Points
  • Level 3: 600 Points
  • Level 4: 1,200 Points
  • Level 5: 2,400 Points
  • Level 6: 4,000 Points
  • Level 7: 6,000 Points
  • Level 8: 8,000 Points
  • Level 9: 10,000 Points
  • Level 10: 12,000 Points
  • Level 11: 14,000 Points
  • Level 12: 16,000 Points
  • Level 13: 24,000 Points
  • Level 14: 32,000 Points
  • Level 15: 40,000 Points
  • Level 16: 48,000 Points
  • Level 17: 56,000 Points
  • Level 18: 64,000 Points
  • Level 19: 72,000 Points
  • Level 20: 80,000 Points
  • Level 21: 88,000 Points
  • Level 22: 96,000 Points
  • Level 23: 104,000 Points
  • Level 24: 112,000 Points
  • Level 25: 120,000 Points
  • Level 26: 128,000 Points
  • Level 27: 138,000 Points
  • Level 28: 148,000 Points
  • Level 29: 158,000 Points
  • Level 30: 168,000 Points

And then after Level 30 it goes on to say that each subsequent level requires an additional 10,000 Points to reach the next level.

Thanks but this doesn't answer my question.

He did bro. Say you have 11,000 points you would be PSN Level 9 50% because 11,000 is halfway between 10,000 and 12,000
To calculate Level look at the chart he provided you have more points than Level 9 but less than 10 so you are Level 9
To calculate % it would be 12,000 - 10,000 = 2,000 and 11,000 - 10,000 = 1,000 therefore 1,000/2,000 = 0.5 = 50%

Now it seems like you answered the question more then he did. This chart i already know about and made it up to 100 levels. I guess what i should have asked was the formula to get the level %. That is my bad and i am sorry, but thank you for this.
To understand you the level % is found by 1) next lvl points - cur lvl points = needed lvl points 2) cur points - cur lvl points = missing points 3) missing points / needed lvl points = % right?
