When I press the power button on my ps3 it switches on for 3 seconds then turns off and so does the light then I have to press the on button in order to turn the red light back on.

all you hear is the fan spinning and the ps3 on then off 3 seconds later.

I can not connect my controller to my ps3 neither can I go into recovery/safe mode.
