So i want to have a jailbroken ps3, be able to mod Gta and and other games.
I have this guy that told me that i need to PS3's because it's a lesser chance to get banned?
And how do i even use 2 ps3's? Do i launch games from the jailbroken one or what?

2 ps3's? Those days are long gone buddy as 2 ps3's was only used to data transfer mods over from one to the other. Now more security has been added mods have to be run from files that wont run on a ofw ps3, so you only need one ps3. And there is always a chance of getting banned because your on cfw but there is homebrew that decrease the chances like psn patch and psn ninja (which you dont really need but good to use if you accidently use homebrew whilst signed in)

So i only need one PS3 right? And if it's on CFW 3.55 rogereo, can i update it with Habib4.70?

And can i go online with a jailbroken ps3 and don't risk getting banned?

exactly, you can just easily update to whichever cfw you want, of course you are able to go online but there is always a risk of getting banned

Not really. However I do recommend having a CFW PS3 aswell as an OFW.
