Could you give us some more info? Like what firmware it's on, if it's jailbroken or not, what model number your console is (whether it's fat or thin). Freezes on boot could be a vast number of things, but it would make it a lot easier to diagnose if we had some more information.

Please provide more info so people can answer your question. If it's your games freezing, clean the discs

If you are talking about your PS3 it is most likely something wrong with the FW so i would reinstall fw.
