I have had the flashing red light. Was told to re apply the thermal paste which I have done. It still didn't work can anyone help?? I heated the board for 30 secs before applying the paste do I need to heat it longer??

I don't get any error messages I will check that cable again I'm pretty certain the ribbon and the cable were fixed correctly. Hope it works

Are you sure the console isn't just freezing?

It doesn't look like it freezes. When I connect the controller via USB lead the lights just keep flashing and it doesn't sync

You might have a broken rsx

Same thing with my cecha01 did you have a green light
