Step 1 you'll need this cord You must login or register to view this content.
Step 2 take your hard-drive out of your PS3 and Download Ease US Partition manager and connect your ps3. Hard drive to your PC
Step 3 wipe the PS3. Hard drive DON'T FORMAT

Step 4 put the hard drive back in the ps3. And download the EXACT FIRMWARE YOU HAD BEFORE WIPING THE DATA and put it on a usb ((if you've never done a update via USB before make a folder called PS3. Click it make a folder in it called UPDATE click it and move the update file there and make sure the update file says PS3UPDAT)and install it back via ps3. safe mode/firmware error screen
