1.) First what you what do do is download this version of Hamachi

after downloading it, install it and you should have something like this.

2.) after that you wanna click the triangle at the bottom right of hamachi
a drop down menu should come out, click Create New Network you should get something like this

3.) after doing what the description say in the pic

go to start on you computer and search cmd.
you should get something like this

what your going do is ping your ip. so what you do is type ping (then type the number in your hamachi, like so

4.) If the ping fail use this step if it pass moved on to part 2
Press start then control panel

then is should open a windows like this

Part 2 Bridging

1.) ok after you have tested the ping and everything went well now you got bridge it

Press Start then press Network and then click on Network Sharing center

you should get to a page like this click manage network connection

2.) Now this is the part we start bridging

plug a Ethernet cord from laptop/desktop in to your ps3

(Back to the Computer)

bridge your local and hamachi like this

now we gotta make sure we can still ping

Repeat step 3 in part 1.

4.) you local network cable should say it unplug,so turn on your ps3
when it booting up the local area connection should enabled it self for a brief second, showing that it function properly
, it say unplug after.

5.) then go to setting on xmb(your ps3 menu)
go down to system setting
then go to data transfer utility

just the first option if you sending and second on if you receiving.

after clicking what choice take a look at your local area connection. if it enabled your ready to go

If anyone does get it working, you aren't really region limited. You can install the pkg for any region on any ps3, you just won't be able to test the modded patch before sending it.

You are region limited in a way... You cant send across the world due to the ping will never work due to it will take to long (time out). That is the main problem.

Man, thats crazy! How does the internetz work then?! :carling:

The ONLY reason you have to make sure your in the same region is so when they successfully get the data transfer to work, and the regions are wrong, mw2 multiplayer won't load and it will be stuck at a black screen, that is it.... it has nothing to do with hamachi or bridging or transfer...

it works. It's just dam near impossible to do with people who don't know what they are doing. I'd make a video doing it. But It would be pointless.

Are you high?Eek As I said it times out if the ping is too LARGE.. as it only waits so long for a reply before timing out.

Large ping can be from either...being very far apart, someone has really slow internet, or is wireless and far away, ect.

I do all understand how to make it work, but, my probleme is, I don't have a router:( On my laptop, im connected by ethernet (by cable), its the same for my ps3. I bought a splitter, which I connected my Modem on. Now I Had 5 ethernet slot. So I use 1 for my ps3 and 1 for my laptop. I wonder if someone know how to connect ps3 to pc without ethernet cable. Help would be appreciateCool Man (aka Tustin) I someone fix my probleme I'll send a patchSmile
