This is most likely because of the Digital Certification. Let me guess, you're on Windows 7 and downloaded this Hamachi Version? Try downloading the newest (2.0.0.xx) and tell me if that worked.

As for the part of trying to transfer, I THINK you should bridge ALL your internet connections in 1 connection, so that all of them (INCLUDING PS3) has access to the internet, making the transfer possible.

Will try it out as soon as I'm home. And another tip here for ya, try transferring WITHOUT the patch. If it works WITHOUT the patch, sure it will will WITH the patch.

Does your Ps3 have to be on wired connection

Yes, it should. If it's not on a wired connection, how would it connect to the PC then?

Anyway, you will need to go to "Internet Settings" and set the mode to "Wired" or else the PC won't recognize the cable.

When they use the transfer data utility yoy basically get a copy of his HDD on your current system.

this wont work unless your ps3 is connected to your pc not your router.

And that's the idea behind this. You have to connect your PC to your PS3 and then bridge.

The missing part (!) I think, is to bridge THREE connectios:

Firstly bridge your Current Internet Connection with the PS3's Ethernet Cable. Then you should see if the ps3 has got a connection. If so, add Hamachi to the bridge you just made and see if it works.

I'd tell you. But it's not my originally discovery to post. I'm not a guy to leak anything. I'm sure in time someone will post what's missing. Until then. I can't really say much except for you guys to look into it. Think. What's missing. It isn't to hard to figure out. You'll get it over time. Anyone here who has ever played Socom2 should have gotten this by now. Good luck

1 missing step
Makes sure you are connecting wired (though pc for connection you might have to use proxy to make it work)

2.Possible Ways to get this to mass no on ngu members
*chain system every one has to five it to 3 more members etc
Problems
People might not do it

3.A possible idea
do you think you could bypass the transfer part way though and redirect it to store on the pcs hard disk? if so i would bring it easily to every one.

Thanks, you're right. I am on windows 7 and I have downloaded the latest version of Hamachi, but I seriously can't be bothered to do it. I don't wana risk ****ing up my connection/computer or whatever, when BO is just around the corner.
