I've stopped playing games as much as I used to but still continued to download games from my friends and I have a loooong list of games that I haven't really played at all, nor read about/ seen reviews/ etc. Wondering if anyone can help me choose what games I should start out with. Looking for games with a good story, or great gameplay. Thanks for anyone who actually reads the list- it's a bit long!
Really, any mentions of good games within this list would be great! I'm pretty lenient on games, I can play just about any genre of game and like it, so don't worry about genres and the like :3

edit: throw in Bioshock Infinite.. just bought that game off a friend's recommendation.. dunno if that was a good decision or not, but it looks quite amazing

Darksiders is a great game. I loved to play it

Batman Arkham City is simply AMAZING, it oozes quality in every aspect. Could not RECOMMEND this game highly enough.

Here are the ones I played and recommend (or have seen a review and gameplay):

Spec Ops: The Line - Good enought to be played without getting tired of it.
Portal 2 - Short storyline, but still very enjoyable.
PAIN - Casual game.
Darksiders and Darksiders 2, also. - I consider them a must, I really enjoyed both of them.
Saints Row 2 - Great game, Great storyline.
Bioshock 2 - Never played a Bioshock game, but most consider it a MUST.
Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 - You should play it in spare time, is not wow of a game, it is relaxing, just that.
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition - Just to fool around.
Just Cause 2 - Awesome game, I platinum it 100% and enjoyed it. I had over 150 hours+ of the game.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - Great game.
PAYDAY: The Heist - You can give it a shot.
Burnout Paradise - Meh, not sooooo great as it is one of the first group of games for PS3. But if you get it free, try it.
Bejeweled 2 - Is addicting as any bejeweled game, just that.
Far Cry 2 - You will love it.
Batman Arkham City - Good enough, I don't consider it great.

Just cause 2 is really amazing, huge open world game, saints row 2 is fun too
