Hurah!
Note. when u accept friends from mobile it wont show up on ur ps3 immediately and if it doesnt show in ur list dont wory because it does show up when u are ready to invite them or play with them

That is strange I'm on ios and iTunes had no such info about unlimited access to my phone/tablet. I feel you bro I wouldn't mess with the android version either although I must say I've been using the app since ps4 release and love it.

Thats because iOS is a closed system the apps all run in there own sandbox and cannot gain access to anything outside the app without permission from the user (a pop up asking for pictures for example)
In terms of android/iOS iOS is more secure with apps because of this
Of course being jailbroken does change this slightly because people make modifications/extensions to apps to allow further access to the full system storage.
