For those of you using Monster Hunter World cheats, keep the following in mind:

• When you go to upgrade your weapons some material will be red and have a “???”, this doesn’t matter in terms of upgrading. You’re able to upgrade still regardless the red. I’ve found a work around for this by rolling back the weapon. This awards you the material again, thus making the material no longer “???” and will unlock the corresponding armor. The game now recognizes you have that material and will unlock the armor corresponding to it.
  
• Some items in the game are not yet released so you can’t use them. You can see a SFV and Nora Brave Ticket in your materials for example. Based off the news, the new horizon gear doesn’t come for a couple of weeks and SFV is un-announced.
  
• Some items will register if you sell them.

Need 3.00 update! SW team gotta get back to work!!!

Even with material activation, I am only able to craft certain weapons and armors, not all. Do i have to have high HR too? I am only HR4 and can craft up to the Kirin group of armors. Is there a way to unlock the endgame gears or do I have to beat the game?

You have to progress in the story and get high rank before you will see more armor

I think with some materials, you will need to go get at least one and it'll unlock for you. I couldn't get some event materials until I did the event at least once.
