(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); No C&P this time you whores Cool Troll except a bit to understand at the bottom but anyways, it seems that there is a new person creeping into Wololo, and has been talking about the dlclose that the other dev had released. kR is actually filling in the gaps to finish the full operational release for the dlclose exploit. He also mentioned that he has now integrated support for booting Linux straight from the PS4-Playground tools. In addition, he also provided the actual PS4 Linux files to use with the tools. Everyone was trying to work on the dlclose source code that the other dev released about a week ago, and kR105 actually got it to work!

It stated "An update to PS4-Playground to run Linux. Another missing link here, that will let people launch linux without having to write their own loader. The launcher integrates the dlclose exploit if I understand correctly."

Few Notes From GitHub:

You need a FAT32 formatted USB drive plugged in on any PS4’s USB port with the following files on the root directory:

bzImage : Kernel image that will be loaded. Recommended to use this sources to compile it.

initramfs.cpio.gz : The initial file system that gets loaded into memory during the Linux startup process. This one is recommended.

The file names must match with the above and you can have more files on the same USB drive. From there you can setup the environment to run from an NFS share or from an external drive via USB (recommended) and boot a complete distro!

damn Hydro. Did you do most of this? Pretty impressive, now that we're one step closer to exploiting the PS4 to it's full potential! Smile

The thread? No, just the top and reworded a few things in the middle. Had to provide photos and the information to actually show the new material that is being release. In other words, yes, this is big step out there for other developers to sink there teeth in.

Yes ruin the joy of the ps4 we have had for 2 years. When JB ps4 comes, remastered cods come, hacks come. No such thing as world peace.

Im telling you, if remastered cods dont come with the shit spaced theme cod.

The JB ps4 will come one day, and then after that period of time when people get hands on these custom firmwares, remastered cods come, rip classic days.

Inb4 mods for wall running and shit come on classic cods

Nah, the file itself would be encrypted. No such thing as memory editing yet either.

So mods won't come for quite a long time after the JB comes?

Exactly, we would have to reverse the executable which that too would be encrypted.
