Hello NextGenUpdate, yesterday, PS4 Developer You must login or register to view this content. had shared a release for the PS4 Hacking Scene on P.T Silent Hills decrypted and resource files that are accommodating. Previously, we had seen Zecoxao team up with PixelButts to start testing things on the P.T Game. They ended up decrypting the game, and running it as a back up. If you had missed that last year around November, please feel free to check it out. (Please don't comment on the old post since it will be determined as grave digging, thank you.) This doesn't work on 1.76 and 4.50 just yet, but if a kernel exploit is ever released, no doubt their would be piracy following through as well. I wonder how this would turn out if it happens. Hopefully no lawsuits this time, don't you think?

Very interesting, It's only a matter of time before you can play backup games on retail consoles Happy

This doesn't really change anything, I mean we've had a kernel exploit for a while now on 1.76 and nothing has really been released publicly for running a back-up.

I do agree though that if a kernel exploit is released on say a firmware like 4.50 or any 4.0X really then we'll probably see something released as then we'll see more devs joining in.
