I wanna say no but I really can't say yes or no. Your best bet if your looking for a slim would to get one that is 20xxA not 20xxB as the A version came out before the B version

Gotta get a PS4 now before it gets harder to get one later on will any discontinued have them under 4.05 that’s what I heard

If they were discontinued before 4.05 came out which is October 2016 then most likely yes. Here's one on Amazon that I know a couple people that bought it and were below 4.05 but it isn't a slim :p You must login or register to view this content.

For sure bro Winky Winky Also it's through amazon so if for some reason you get a higher version than 4.05 (Which I highly doubt you would) You most likely could get a return for a new one.

If anyone interested there are white slim ps4s on ebay brand new sealed 244 pound model number cuh- 2016a mine come last week on 4.01 firmware
