The PS4 pro has a different cooling system and the fan is a bit louder at times. Do you have the console where it gets good airflow? I hear mine at times particularly when it is having to render a lot of action and frame changes.

Mine does it too and it's in an open area. I suggest just turning up your TV to drown it out Smile

Well that was rather pointless...Guess you can't just increase your post count like a normal person?

The louder the healthier. it only means that the cooling system is working just fine. ...or do you prefer the infamous YLOD? =P

Loud and cool is better than quiet and hot

use a hoover around the vents, then compressed air to blow dust through. make sure it has good air flow. only other options include opening it up and voiding warranty

Hi,

I had the same with my normal PS4 and took everything apart, blow air and cleaned it. It helped but I have to repeat it every other month.

Mine sounds like a jet engine at times, but that's just how it is. You could canned air it out a bit, but it doesn't really reduce much noise. If you really want some cool air to it too, just put a small fan near it or something. Good if you live in a hot climate.
