Make sure you're pressing the right button. I got drunk one night, and was pressing the eject button the entire time and thought I broke my system...Hahah. And unplug and plug it back in.

It should turn back on. Give it a few minutes.

you can never hard brick a console thats for sure and i know for a fact you cant cause sony system is designed not to brick your shit!
if you had a CFW OR MFW i could understand then..
