Post: My account was hacked but they put 2SV on it

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So recently my account was hacked. They changed the email, password and put a 2SV (2-Step Verification) on it with there mobile phone. I called sony and got my account back because I had the original email and serial number. But i cannot access my account due to the 2SV on the account. Sony said they transferred the case to a specialist and if approved ill receive an email within 1-2 business days to change my password and the 2SV will be gone. Today marks day 3 and no email yet.

So questions.

- Will I get my account back with full access? (No 2SV on it)
- Why haven't I gotten a email yet?



Any help is appreciated!

I did. gave them my case number and they said its still on review. Said i should hear from them soon.

Glad to hear it is being revised. Please quote me to see what has happen towards your case on your issue once you receive an email from Sony. Thanks again, and hopefully your problem gets resolved.
