I am error
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have both a PS4 and Xbox One and I tend to play and prioritize my PS4 alot more when it comes to multiplayer games knowing that there's a larger player base to rely on when searching for games (unsure if there's actually any difference though) , although I like both console communities equally.

Should this even be a factor?

Do a barrel roll!
I think so.

BF1 for example, there is a site that counts the active players, most of them are playing on a ps4.
Considering that battlefield franchise games loses almost 70% of casual players after 8 months, I would buy it for the platform were the most players are.

I would recommend Playstation for any multiplatform multiplayer game, since 60 millions playstation 4 have been sold, the online community may stay great even for the old games.
