You need a Save resigner like Save Wizard or Xploder but if i was you
i buy Save wizard 999999999999999999999x better

I tested something out and it did work great
1. Start a Versus game
2. have 1 friend in it
3. start the game
4. play normally till the boss round
5. in the boss round your friend can stay afk so long as you need to and you can find the collectibles (your friend also still can collect them)
