i created a zip folder and dragged the save into the folder but everytime i go into save wizard and try and import the folder it keeps telling me "No valid saves found to import." please if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it thank you.
Make a 0000000000000000 folder on your usb were the users are and drag the CUSA folder in there and try to resign through your Save Wizard client.
Thank you so much for trying to help me out but I tried your method and I was still unable to import the file, not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what.
The structure needs to be either one of two things. The way Wosley just told you is my preferred method but most prefer the "import" button. In no particular order:
-1- If it's going to be a ZIP file: First make sure it is a ZIP file. This download is a RAR. Sounds like you extracted it, but for others, Save Wizard does not read RARs. Fully extract the contents of the RAR or other compressed file and make a ZIP out of the CUSA. The last, proper CUSA (see notes below on structure, pertains to both methods).
Structure needs to be ZIP>>>CUSAfolder>>>files
-2- If you're going with a "dummy" folder on your USB stick like Wosley suggests, it still needs to be in the proper format of how a PS4 would save data to a USB stick. Meaning, the structure would look like:
USB stick drive>>>PS4>>>SAVEDATA>>>0000000000000000>>>CUSAfolder>>>files
If the files are like that, you should see the Killing Floor 2 saves in Save Wizard under the Resign Tab WITHOUT going to the "import" button. They would appear where you see your own game saves, but under the profile "0000000000000000" instead of your profile (don't register it since you only have 3 slots total for registering). You won't see these saves on the Cheats tab, unless you do register that dummy profile, but they'll pop up on the Resign tab after you hit it. I prefer this way because it gives more control over the process especially when you're resigning a number of saves from the same game at once.
For both methods:
Most common hiccup here is that there can only be one folder. A lot of downloads might have a folder inside of another folder. Only use the last folder you see, and make sure there are valid save files inside of it.
For the CUSA folder's name, a lot of folders will be named after a trophy, or some might have the trophy name after the CUSA. If you can't find a folder that's just the CUSA and nothing else, take the last folder and rename it the CUSA. Here it would be CUSA05179.
Many downloads will have first have instructions, roadmaps, several different saves all in one download, etc., even if that first folder has the right CUSA number and so looks simple enough at first glance. So always look inside.
Just FYI, I did just now successfully resign this save. I don't own the game but I resigned it just fine. If I had to guess, you have a CUSA folder inside of another CUSA folder based on how the RAR extracts.
