I don't know if any of you have tried this service, but I think it's rather cool. All it is, pretty much is Netflix for games. You can download the app called "PS Now" and with a subscription you can stream games to your PS4 which is awesome!
You must login or register to view this content.
As you can see in the picture you can have a 1 month ($19.99) or 3 month ($49.99) which to me, seems kind of ridiculous, because not only ontop of PS+ that we have to pay for to play online we have to pay additional for this service, which I guess if you really want it, is not a big deal, but to me it seems like something that should be included with PS+.
However, you do not
need the subscription to rent/stream games to your PS4, you can go into the PS Store and choose to rent the games from anywhere from $1.99 to I think the highest I seen was around $40 depending on how long you want to rent for. SO that is a plus side.
But, you should not get too excited if you do not have the best of internet speed. I have a slow connection to my PS4, my speed is around 5mb down and 3up. (Horrible, I know, I'm on Wifi
) and that is okay, I was streaming God of War to my PS4 and sometimes it does lag a little and have framerate drops but just like any good porn video, it eventually buffers itself out. But if you have a 10mb+ connection, I'm sure it will be very smooth for you ^^
They offer a free week subscription as long as you have a credit card (you can just remove the cc from your acc before they bill you) so I recommend you try it out!
