Change PSN ID because loads of people bought XB1 instead of PS4 because of this feature.

If people bought a console over another JUST because they couldn't change their name, I think they need their head looking at..

Notifications when friends come online/go offline, increase max people in a party and change psn id. I would love to see all of those.

The better question is why weren't these features right out of the door?

I can understand not all of those features not coming out the door first but things such as changing your PSN name need a lot of work.

Agreed we should already have half of the features requested by players.

This isn't really new though. I don't think I know of a single program at least on pc that didn't support this other than like the original instant messengers. I could understand if names were on a per game basis but they aren't. Didn't they have a name change service for the ps3 at one point?

The PS3 has never had the option to change your name.
