One of the most amazing features in the new 4.50 Firmware coming out soon to the PS4 it's the use of external HDDs. While you'll be able to use more than 1 external hard drive on other platforms, there’s still one drawback to this newly announced feature... You can only use one hard drive at a time.

That being said, the features introduced in the PS4 4.50 firmware is still in beta. Hopefully when the official firmware releases in a few weeks, maybe they will remove the limitation of being able to only use 1 hard drive at a time. Also, there’s a bug that disconnects your external storage upon turning on the PS4 from Rest Mode, and giving you the process of repairing the hard drive just because you didn’t disconnect the hard drive properly when you put your PS4 on rest mode.

You can find a lot that are 4 TB and maybe even more. But I think that's a bit much tbh.

Exactly so I don't think the external stuff would even work.
