Or do we think the wizards will get it working with 5.50?

Just have to wait and see. I guarantee you that they will change the save encryption keys, it really depends if Save Wizard can crack it or not. From what I heard, the only reason they ever got 5.00 supported was because they had a 0 day exploit on their side.

If you're referring to the 5.50 beta - yes. And it does currently work from what I've heard. However, just like the 5.00 Beta, it worked until the full update released for everyone. They changed the encryption keys during the full release.

Mostly games are working on the 5.50 beta 2, but some games (recente releases) just don't work anymore

4.05 was jailbroken. So I think free cheating and resigning tools like BSD for PS3 will be no further.

Even if a 5.50 blocks save wizard, old saves prior to that version could still be used, right?

Yup all 5.05 and below will still be useable
