The ppdate will start today as a beta will include man different things that many playstation players have been requesting for quite some time. Things that will be added are:*play time management* ,*library, quick menu updates and a *supersampling mode* for the Ps4 Pro. "With supersampling mode, some games will render at a higher resolution and then be downscaled to match the HDTV - allowing PS4 Pro owners to leverage the benefits of an image clarity boost even if their PS4 Pro is not connected to a 4K TV. Please note performance will vary, as games are optimised differently to take advantage of the power of PS4 Pro."

You also will be able to import Images and Wallpapers by using a USB stick, as was a common feature on the PS3.

The Library update will include :

• A new tab for apps you bought and installed
  
• A list of avatars you bought
  
• A new tab for only Ps Plus Games you own
  
• An option to hide purchases such as beta's and demo's
  
• And finally, an option to permanently remove notification's*

Unfortunately there's no mention of being able to change your PSN name. Hopefully that will be introduced in a future update!

I'm in 5.50 so far I like it, but in all honesty custom wallpapers? PS3 Had this feature since forever. I wish we can store MP3's, and pictures to our PS4's to play while gaming lol or just on menu that would be nice. Most of these features could of been implemented day one.

I think he means like realy MP3 music whats stored on a usb stick i used to do that to on the ps3

I hoped they would include the ability to delete betas and games from the game list in within user profile, alongside the ability to delete them from library, but that wasn't the case sadly. Got a few beta codes if anyone needs them though:
