A game has more expectations then its reality

Well my friend told me that ppl dropped out of college just to play this game and that it takes 7 hr to create a character and 3000 hr gameplay but turns out to be the opposite. so i posted this thread to hear what others thinks about this game

 It doesn't take 7 hours to create your character. It could take anywhere from 10 seconds to an hour, it depends wether you fully create all features from scratch or use the presets. As for the actual game I estimate to fully enjoy the game you will put at least 80 hours into it. Platinum will be around 80 - 100 hours, but a fully complete 100% save would probably take around 200+ (Not to mention the Radiant Quest System) which will generate unlimited quests.
Crossing the map from one-end to the other does NOT take 30 minutes. If you are on foot, it will take close to an hour IF you dont get a arrow to the knee, mauled by a sabre-cat, trolled by a troll, sent skyward by a giant, or turned into Dragonfeed. Seriously though, one side to the other will take forever on foot. Chances are you will get overencumbered somewhere, or discover alot of really cool places which you will want to explore....

2 hours later, you remember what you were supposed to b doing Happy I think Skyrim is definately well worth the $. It reminds me of a Fallout x Demon's Souls.

Umm, no, I love CoD but when I started to play Skyrim it took my mind off CoD. Skyrim is more for smart strategy type of gamers, not a bunch of little kids. I can seriously say it dosen't take 3000 hours to become a pro on that game. Pretty much platted it in about a month or so (Yes I'm a loser and play alot). Skyrim is by far the #1 game for 2011-2011 IMO.

Seven hours? I think he was exaggerating a bit. Anyways you have too many zeroes as it is 30 hours of gameplay not 3000.

CoD addict? Nah, I have W@W, MW, MW2, BO, and MW3. I have MW3 hardened edition and I bought 30 Mtn Dews for MW3 DXP. I am a CoD addict but I bought this game and I loved it. I went back to play Oblivion just for fun and of course its glitchy, isn't CoD glitchy?

I'm sorry it's not full of explosions like CoD or BF.

I was level 15 before I even beat the tutorial mission... :P

17 hours to get to level 40 right now with over 100,000 gold, no glithes... Smile

Version 1.3 patch on PS3, I am addicted to this game, 5th character build in about 1 week.
