Unless some divine intervention happens, I don't see the Heat contending at all. Another question that pops into my mind is, how close is Spoelstra from getting fired? I have a gut feeling Pat Riley will step in soon, because it's now or never!

tl;dr: The Miami Heat have a 0% chance of winning the title this year, and Lebron should have stayed in Cleveland.

Young Derek Fisher (which he distrube the ball damn well at young age) then you had Robert Horry (a clutch 3 pointer in the post-season) and Rick Fox (a good average player.) Then you have the best coach of all time who coached one of the greatest player of all time which is Michael Jordan. What I believe is what people failed realized is you need a 1 & 2 punch combo and helluva coach who knows how to utilize his team with good supporting cast to win a championship team. The coach they have is very young with a lot of potiental but he seem be having a lot problems having his hothead espeically Lebron James under control. You know how many times Lebron James missed a clutch shot espeically a blocked from Amare Stoudmire. Lebron forgets he is not clutch shooter he is a clutch dunker. He not in level to be consider a clutch player such as Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chauncey Billups etc. In my personal opinion Lebron gets too much attention handed to him when he doesn't deserve it. He couldn't handle the pressure to win championship in Cleveland so he went to his buddy to "try" to "win" a championship. The guy is pathetic. I'm very disappointed in Lebron James. I'm glad you made this thread ClutchLikeMelo. I thought this was a very good thread

Well sonny, 3 straight isn't that impressive.

I'll start off with the Lakers. EVERY year Lebron beats Kobe in the regular season. But come playoff time, Kobe is the one that gets farther. The Spurs, I already knew the Heat would win that game. Don't you think they would be more motivated than ever to beat the best team in the NBA after people just put the Heat away?

Either way we all know the Nets are gonna win the championship this year :p

Ok for now, how bout you get outa this thread. For a while they were 0-5 against the "top teams" or w/e. Then they beat the lakers, so people changed it too 0-5 against the "top 5 teams" (at the time the lakers werent in the top 5). Then they beat Orlando so they lowered it to the "top four teams" which at the time they were like 0-6. The heat have now beat the lakers a few more times, and the lakers player their way into to "top four teams" so they lowered it to the "top three teams" which the heat is 1-9 against. (when i refer to "they" I'm talking about ESPN and idiots on NGU. What i'm trying to say is every time the heat beat a good team in the NBA people lower the "top teams" so it doesnt look like they have beat anyone good.

tl;dr
People be hating and make it look like the heat havn't won any good games by saying "top three teams", instead of "top 5 teams" like it was at the begining of the year.

@ Muggen, wow, I really thought you weren't one of the Kobe lovers . Really disapointed your a dick rider. You do realize Kobe had loads of talent throught ALL of his rings. Lebron just got some quality talent and he will win. Come on Melo, did you even read my post? Here, i'll make it a little easier for you too see... You totally bashed Lebron for leaving cleveland pointing out how bad they were doing. Oh and i loved the point about Kobe making it further then Lebron. Who has Kobe had to Compete with in the West in the past 10 years? The only teams i can think of is the Mavs in 07 or 08, the Spurs recently, and the Thunder recently. Lebron has the Bulls, the Celtics, the Magic, East>West by a mile. Lebron had Mo Williams and Gibson on his team, Kobe had Pau, Lamar, Odom, Artest, Shaq, and about 10 others that would have went into the playoffs without him. Remember, without kobe the lakers still won last year. Lebron has never had good support players, now he does. Now lets sit back and watch him win.

And i want you to do the same, dont say oh lets wait till he has 5 rings, then when he gets 5 rings not say anything. I want you to talk shit then too .

Oh and too my last point, i think the Nuggets will win, 8-10 without Melo, with a nice win over the Hornets :y:

it doesn't really matter, if they "changed it." It is what it is and it doesnt change the fact that the heat will have to go through the bulls, celtics, and spurs for a nba title. The way that they've played against those teams it doesn't look like they're going to win the title.

As for the not having support players that's an over said statement. The Cavs had Shaq, Antawaan Jamison, Mo Williams, Jamario Moon (not too bad imo), and Booby Gibson (I like him :p).

That being said Kobe had Pau Gasol, Odom, Artest, and Bynum which only contributes to the cause because of his height, NOT his skill (with the bread stick knee).

You can't say anyone won a title easily. No matter how stacked a team, it's a tough road.

As for the Nuggets.... Hell yeah ^
