The team that loses the coin toss in overtime now has a chance to win the game as long as they do not allow the opening drive in OT to end in a touchdown! That's right. If the team that wins the coin toss drives down the field and only kicks a field goal(or does not score at all), the oposing team has the opportunity to drive the field and either win the game with a touchdown, or keep the game going by a tieing field goal, or obviously lose as they do not score. It seemed a bit silly but now as I think about it, I can not wait until they decide to put this in to the regular season. As it stands right now this only applies to the playoffs.

ya it is finally about time this happens. I gaurantee you the Saints wouldn't have beat the vikings in the game if this was already in effect. They shouldn't have won as it is the reffs of that game pretty much gave the game to the Saints.

Finally, I found it silly to not be able to win in OT if you loose coin, cause you kick FG and it's done...
